THE STATEMENT
The Music Project
I explore the intersection between figurative form and abstraction, drawing inspiration from music as an emotional and narrative trigger. Each work in this series seeks to translate rhythms, silences, and harmonies into color, gesture, and composition.
My figurative visual dialogue is nourished by the observation of the human body, yet it breaks free from literal representation. In these paintings, music acts as a bridge between what is seen and what is felt, inviting the viewer to complete the story from their own experience.
Through asymmetrical compositions and a focus on color as the main character, I aim to create spaces where figure, gesture, and musical rhythm coexist. This series is an invitation to look at music and to listen to painting.

Sobre la serie / About the series
The Music series is a profound exploration of how rhythm and melody can materialize through figurative painting. In these works, I seek to capture not only the image of the performer but the invisible energy emanating from their connection with the instrument. It is an attempt to make the auditory visible, transforming the vibration of sound into gestural brushstrokes and a color palette that resonates with musical harmony.
